African Jade Necklace

African Jade, also called Dendritic Jade, comes from South Africa. The stones are often green, with dark, tree-like (dendritic) patterns. The dendrites are mineral formations of iron and manganese oxides, creating unique natural art. Stones are translucent or opaque green, orange, or sometimes white or grey. African Jade is not a true jade (jadeite) but a Grossular Garnet, prized for its beauty and believed to have properties of healing and prosperity.

Believed to bring abundance, healing, good luck, harmony and balance.

About the clasp
Copper magnetic clasp with heavy magnetic strength. Not intended for children 14 and under: swallowed or inhaled magnets can cause serious injury or death. Magnets may also affect electronic medical devices such as pacemakers. Natural untreated copper may develop a patina over time, which can become permanent.

• Put your jewelry on as the finishing touch to avoid contact with products.
• To open the magnetic clasp, hold both sides and slide or twist them apart rather than pulling straight apart. For a secure connection, make sure the halves are firmly aligned when you close it.
